Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to Berne Creek Road in Lakeside after a 16-year-old boy handling a .38-caliber revolver accidentally shot himself in the hand. There were no signs of foul play, according to investigators. The boy was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Deputies twice were called to reported disturbances at a Ridgewood Drive residence.

A Wishert Lane resident found an intoxicated woman, whom he did not know, in his home and wanted her out. Deputies gave the woman a ride.

A 40-year-old South Hilltop Road man out partying Tuesday night was exiled to the couch. The next morning, he got into an altercation with his wife while discussing the snub and was arrested on suspicion of partner assault.

Parents in Somers noticed that their baby sitter posted pictures of their children on an online social-networking site. Although the pictures weren't inappropriate, the post struck the parents as suspicious enough to call authorities.

Skis were reported stolen on Big Mountain.

Deputies were called to break up domestic disturbances on Redfield Lane and other altercations on Parliament Drive and Browns Meadow Road.

Items were reported stolen from a residence on East Oregon Street.

Deputies received 141 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to the Four Corners area after a woman complained about a rib injury received during a domestic disturbance on Fourth Avenue East. Officers ended up arresting one woman on a warrant and another, a minor, on suspicion of possession of alcohol.

A Ninth Avenue West woman allegedly received harassing phone calls from another woman.

Officers responded to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center emergency room after a mental-health patient reportedly became violent and tried to leave.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at a motel on U.S. 93 South.

Someone tossed a chair through a window of a building on U.S. 2.

Someone thought that an electrical wire bouncing up and down on North Main Street without the benefit of any wind was suspicious enough to call police.

Officers counseled two people urinating outside a grocery store on Third Avenue East North.

Officers responded to several noninjury crashes, including collisions on Fifth Avenue West, Main Street, 11th Street West, 10th Street West, Second Avenue East North, and Third Avenue East.

Officers received 52 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct after responding to a fight outside a Baker Avenue bar.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on a county warrant for bad checks after a fight at a grocery store on Baker Avenue. He also had warrants out of Kalispell and Whitefish for contempt of court.

A 27-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop on Edgewood Drive on suspicion of DUI, driving with a suspended license, and driving without insurance.

Someone stole a gun out of a pickup parked on Second Street.

Officers received 30 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

After spotting some tracks, a 10th Avenue West resident told Columbia Falls police that someone had been looking into his bedroom window. Turns out the tracks belonged to a dog.

Officers received 12 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a building on Second Avenue West after an occupant smelled what they thought was an electrical problem. Apparently someone thought it could have posed a fire danger.

The Whitefish Fire Department was paged to a crash on Montana 40.

The South Kalispell Fire Department was dispatched to Willow Glen Drive after a light at a residence started smoking.

The ALERT helicopter, Hungry Horse Fire Department, and Canyon Quick Response Unit were paged to a rollover crash on U.S. 2 near mile marker 141. An hour later, the Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were paged out to a rollover crash at the intersection of U.S. 93 and Montana 82.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to an oven fire on West Briar Court.

The ALERT helicopter and Marion Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle rollover on U.S. 2 near Marion.
