Basketball roundup: Mee paces Libby past Whitefish; Stevi sweeps Polson

WHITEFISH - Libby rallied in the second half for a 51-47 Northwestern A girls basketball victory over Whitefish on Thursday night.
Whitefish, 0-6 league and 3-9 overall, led 14-9 and 21-19 after the first two quarter stops.
Libby, 5-1 and 8-4, went on top 31-29 heading into the final frame.
Libby was 16-for-33 from the free throw line. Whitefish went 8-for-14.
Whitefish's Kate Klundt had another double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Beth Donovan added 12 and Olivia Nagler 11.
Donovan was 5-for-6 from the field.
Jackie Mee had 17 points and Brittany Martin 13 for Libby.

Polson, on the other hand, went 4-for-6 from the charity stripe.
Stevensville, 9-4, led 32-25 at the half. Polson, 6-6, has now dropped four straight.
Ethan Pateman led Stevensville offensively with 17 points.
Kyle Bagnell, 16 points, and Tim Rausch, 14, paced Polson.
Polson hosts Bigfork on Saturday.
