Someone outside a business on U.S. 2 in Evergreen called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to report that it looked like a man and woman in a nearby car were getting ready to fight. He apparently was trying to convince her to perform sexual favors.

A Grizzly Way man called deputies because his wife, whom he reportedly is trying to divorce, attempted to leave with his checkbook.

Deputies arrested a man in Marion after he allegedly violated a restraining order by visiting a Badger Hollow Trail woman's home.

An Evergreen woman wanted deputies to remove her former boyfriend from the apartment the couple shared so she could get her deposit back.

Responding deputies were unable to find a man who reportedly hid in some bushes near a U.S. 2 mobile home court for about three hours.

Two girls got into it over a boy in a field off Second Avenue South in Hungry Horse.

A man allegedly fled into the woods after assaulting another man at a house on Farm To Market Road.

Someone tried to pass a fake $20 bill at a Kool-Aid stand in the Hungry Horse area.

Deputies received 177 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A group of youths with backpacks bolted early Tuesday morning after spotting a patrol car on Fifth Avenue East. Some of the group tried to hide in nearby yards. But Kalispell police gave chase and arrested three on a combination of possession of alcohol charges and curfew violations.

Two women arguing on Seventh Avenue West were cited for possession of alcohol. They were underage.

A 7-year-old boy who was supposed to be in summer school was reported missing. He was reunited with his mother unharmed.

Tools, a water pump and a generator were stolen from the shed outside a business on North Main Street.

A Third Avenue East North woman told police her relatives had ripped off the door to a locked room in her home.

Officers responded to a Second Street East bar after an unruly customer refused to leave, but eventually took his beer out to the sidewalk. He was told not to return unless he wanted to face trespassing charges.

A woman allegedly assaulted another woman at a hotel on U.S. 93 South, injuring her arm. A group of the suspects friends allegedly tried to pull the victim out of her car.

Fireworks were reported at the intersection of Main and Third streets only a short time after officers arrested 15- and 17-year-old girls there for possession of alcohol.

Children, who at the tender ages of 5 and 9 were picked up for shoplifting, were returned to their mother.

Officers received 83 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a man allegedly going through cars on Dakota Avenue.

Officers arrested a 53-year-old man for driving on a suspended license, without insurance, and no registration during a traffic stop on Baker Avenue.

Officers received 53 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police ordered a man causing problems at a grocery store on U.S. 2 to leave. He did.

Officers received 28 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

Three Rivers EMS responded to Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park after a 16-year-old boy had a seizure and hit his head.

Three Rivers EMS responded to a Frontage Road home after a resident's leg started bleeding from a cut. The patient was not taken to the hospital.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a crash on U.S. 2. One person was taken to the hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department and Big Mountain Ambulance were paged to a neighborhood on the mountain after a man fell 10 feet off a ladder, possibly hitting his head. He was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Creston Fire Department extinguished a grass fire on Foothill Road, which most likely was caused by fireworks.
