Flathead Community Health Center has received $241,438 of federal stimulus money.

Wendy Doely, executive director of the health center, said the center plans to purchase medical and dental equipment, software and hardware for the dental program as well as training and licensing for electronic medical records.

"Principally, we're looking at enhancing the system we have and do what we do in a better and more efficient manner," Doely said.

The community center first accepted patients in December of 2007. The new facility opened in April.
