Lynn Marie Andrews, 68, "entered the kingdom of the heavenly father" on Monday, June 29, 2009. She was born Aug. 6, 1938, in Kalispell to Robert and Alice Owens.

Lynn lived an exciting childhood and enjoyed spending time with her Grandpa Copley on the oil farms in Conrad. She and her brother, Pat, had many great moments helping run the family creamery.

Lynn met Johnnie Lee Andrews of Hot Springs. They fell in love and were married in 1959 at the Presbyterian Church. Lynn and Johnnie loved all the great things that Mother Nature has to offer, including hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling with their great friends Kenny and Judi Crone. Johnnie and Lynn also spent endless hours with their friends, who are too many to mention, playing cards and telling stories.

In 1960, Lynn and Johnnie brought their first child, Colin, into the world. Kim was born in 1961, John in 1962, and Tina in 1963. Lynn and Johnnie spent many years raising their children.

Lynn was a gentle, kind, full-of-life kind of person. Romans 12:9-21 is a great example of Lynn's character. Lynn enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, teaching her family to trust in the strength of love and lean on the foundation of family. Everyone who entered Lynn's life appreciated the love she had for every human being and was amazed at how the simple pleasures of life were the most important things to her.

Lynn began having grandchildren enter her life in 1981. Over the next several years she spent time telling the grandchildren stories, laughing with them, taking walks, and swimming and tubing in lakes during annual family camping trips. "Grandma Lynn" loved having the grandchildren brush her hair and give her shoulder massages around the campfire. Even though Lynn didn't have too much left to give, she still wanted to, and with her donation of eyes, she will help others see.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie; and many other family members and friends "already in heaven."

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Colin and Judy Andrews, Kim Andrews and Rod Amundson, John and Amy Andrews, and Tina and Steve Larson; her brother, Pat; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her dog, Spike; and many other family members and friends.

"Let's all rejoice and celebrate with her reunion with Jesus, beloved husband, Johnnie, and all of those who wait for her."

A celebration of Lynn's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.

A celebratory reception will follow at the Red Lion Hotel Kalispell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice. Friends are encouraged to visit www.buffalohillfh.com to post condolences for the family.
