LIBBY - Joe Coker ripped his fifth home run of the season, Colt Cannon, who had his 15-game hitting streak snapped on Tuesday, doubled and drove in four runs, and Dustin Morningstar pitched six solid innings (6-2) as Libby downed Mission Valley 16-5 Wednesday afternoon in Class A American Legion baseball play.

Coker's solo shot to left field in the bottom of the fourth inning tied the game at 3. The Loggers scored five runs in that inning and came back with nine more in the fifth.

Morningstar and Ryan Stapley both had two hits for Libby, 21-18 overall.

The Mission Valley Mariners were led by Kyle Bagnell, 3-for-4. Bagnell homered in the second inning to right center with no runners aboard.

Libby travels to Strathmore, Alberta, to play four games in three days. The Loggers face Strathmore on Friday, 6:30 p.m., have a 10 a.m. doubleheader with Lethbridge on Saturday, and finish up Sunday at noon with Strathmore.
