Kenneth Wayne ÒBuddyÓ Larson, 42, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009, at his residence in Kalispell. He was born on July 21, 1966, in Libby, the son of Kenneth Wayne and Vicki (Krantz) Larson.Ken was married on Aug. 16, 1986, in Kalispell, to Karen Cook. Ken had many passions in life, but his greatest passion was his girls, Karen and Katie. He was a great husband, father, son, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. He was very enthusiastic about civil rights, and was also active in USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association) competitions. He was a master shooter.Ken lived a simple life but was a very complex man. ÒHe would want us to be strong and go on with life. We will do that for our love for him.Ó ÒWe know that he is now with his little brother, Aaron. May he rest in peace.Ó He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron. He is survived by his wife, Karen Larson, and daughter, Katie, of Kalispell; his mother and stepfather, Vicki and Bob Rinke, of Kalispell; his father, Ken Larson, of Yamhill, Ore.; two half sisters, Krystal and Ericka Larson, both of Yamhill; and numerous family and friends.Funeral services for Ken will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Stillwater Lutheran Church, with Pastor Tim Bartholomew officiating.
