Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to Willow Glen Drive on Wednesday night after a resident called to report that the neighbor was threatening to kill the dog.

Logging equipment, including chains and wood, was reported stolen up the North Fork Road. A cart was taken from an Evergreen golf course, but it later was found.

Deputies were called to Kila after a resident wired into an area transformer illegally.

Two teenage girls fighting on Antelope Trail in Happy Valley separated before deputies arrived.

Roofing nails were found in the middle of Montana 35 in Creston. A tree came down across Bachelor Grade Road.

An intoxicated, disoriented woman leaning up against a vehicle at a state park in the Bigfork area left before medical help could arrive.

Deputies received 162 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police

A west Kalispell man heard his wife and stepdaughter arguing from the shower. The man's wife reportedly had scratches on her face. Both parties were gone, however, when Kalispell police arrived.

A man trying to steal groceries from a store on U.S. 93 South dropped the goods but kept on running.

Officers were called to retrieve a child from a locked car on East Idaho Street - as long as they didn't damage the vehicle.

While conducting a house check on 11th Street West, probation officers arrested two men on warrants for violating their release.

One CD was stolen from a car on Seventh Street East. A lawn mower went missing from the back yard of a Sixth Avenue West home.

Officers were called to remove loitering and uncooperative groups of youths from the parking lot of a grocery store on First Avenue East North and a bank on First Avenue West.

Someone shot a picture window at a Second Avenue East home with a pellet gun. A truck on Parkway Drive was again vandalized with shaving cream and eggs. An ATM at a mall on U.S. 2 was run over.

Deputies refereed an argument between a man on woman on Cobbler Village Road. The ownership of certain property came into dispute while people were house-sitting.

A friend stopped by his buddy's place on Third Avenue West, but the place appeared ransacked.

Children allegedly smoking marijuana in an Evergreen park were gone when deputies arrived.

Golf clubs were taken from a car in a Stillwater Lane garage.

Officers received 89 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 37 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 32 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Somers Fire Department responded to a grass fire, possibly started by an equipment malfunction, on South Juniper Bay Road. The flames were largely extinguished by the equipment's owner.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department extinguished a grass fire, possibly started by fireworks, near a Brunner Road home.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Fourth Street West after flames started in a resident's stove.
