| July 28, 2009 12:00 AM

The man killed in a rollover accident on the North Fork Road Saturday night has been identified as Voney Tuttle, 77, of Wyoming.

A 60-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Montana Highway Patrol investigators believe the man was driving south on the North Fork Road about 12 miles north of Columbia Falls when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, hit a guardrail on the other side of the road and then rolled the Dodge 2007 pickup.

The truck came to a rest on its top in the middle of the road.

Excessive speed was a factor in the crash, and it has yet to be determined if alcohol contributed to the crash.

Tuttle is the 12th person to die in motor-vehicle crashes on Flathead County roads this year.
