Kalispell police

After getting a report from Kalispell Regional Medical Center that a man came to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the arm Tuesday night, Kalispell Police investigated, finding that a man, 22, was shot at a residence on the 200 block of Third Avenue West. Officers determined that another man had apparently accidentally fired a handgun while examining it.

There was a report of one boy punching another boy and then stealing his skateboard at the Woodland Skate Park.

Several guests at a hotel on U.S. 93 South reported that a man was exposing himself at the hotel pool.

A man reported that he put two bicycles worth $2,500 into the back of a pickup truck, thinking the truck belonged to his friend. Wrong! When he came out of the bar on North Main, the truck was gone.

A woman, 25, was arrested after a traffic stop on a Kalispell city warrant for failing to appear on traffic citations. She was additionally charged with following too closely, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and disorderly conduct.

A man, apparently down on his luck, reportedly punched a gambling machine, shattering the screen, at a casino on U.S. 2 West early Wednesday.

After a traffic stop on Second Avenue West, a man was arrested on a Missoula County warrant.

An officer investigating a vehicle in Woodland Park after the park had closed ended up arresting a man on a warrant for violating the terms of a suspended sentence.

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue East.

A mountain bike was reported stolen from a residence on the 600 block of Third Avenue East.

Kalispell Police had 89 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a dispute involving three people on Gordon Avenue in the Columbia Heights area Tuesday night. It ended with a man suffering chest pains and being transported by Three Rivers Ambulance to North Valley Hospital.

Two patio chairs were reported stolen from a South Cedar residence.

There was a report of two juvenile females attempting to steal beer and Red Bull from a store on Montana 35 east of Kalispell.

A man was cited and released for indecent exposure after he had allegedly been flashing people passing an apartment building on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

Transients who had been staying at a store parking lot in Evergreen for more than a week were warned by deputies to move on.

Wednesday, a person staying at an RV park on Montana 35 east of Kalispell reported that he had been bitten by his own dog. A county animal warden responded.

Items were reported stolen from a purse at a restaurant in Bigfork.

A fence was reportedly damaged at a residence on Blanchard Lake Road.

A fly-fishing store on U.S. 93 south of Whitefish was burglarized sometime overnight, with the culprit gaining entry through a broken window. It's considered a felony burglary because several thousand dollars worth of fly rods, reels and other fishing gear was stolen.

Miscellaneous electronics gear was reported stolen from a vehicle that was parked at Lybeck's Dike in the Helena Flats area.

Sheriff's dispatch had 152 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls Police had a report of checks being stolen from a home on the 1900 block of Rapids Avenue.

A man, 48, was arrested early Wednesday for partner/family-member assault at a residence on First Avenue West.

A runaway girl, 13, was arrested on Third Avenue West.

There were 33 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

After a traffic stop on Central Avenue early Wednesday, Whitefish Police arrested a woman, 24, for drunk driving.

A man, 51, was arrested on an outstanding city warrant on U.S. 93 South.

Whitefish Police had 51 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
