Wildlife on display at museum near West Glacier

The North American Wildlife Museum between Coram and West Glacier features more than 90 indoor displays of animals found in Montana and North America. Exhibits include moose, elk, deer, wolves, grizzly and black bears. The museum is open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day; from May 1 until Memorial day and after Labor Day through Oct. 31, the hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. An entrance fee is charged. The facility has a gift shop and large selection of Montana-made products, artwork and jewelry, as well as a 90-space recreational-vehicle campground next to the museum.

A tepee display is included in the museum complex.
