A camper was reported missing in the Coram area. His tent was there, but the man was gone. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies found him about half an hour later in a nearby bar.

A stranger walked into an unlocked Rockwood Drive residence after reportedly making some noise on the deck. He fled when confronted and nothing appears to be missing.

Deputies were called to speak with some children blocking traffic on East Evergreen Drive.

Someone left a threatening message on an Ashley Lake Road man's phone, prompting him to call deputies.

Detention officers broke up a fight between two inmates, both men, at the county jail.

Reports that a resident was shooting unsafely near a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen were unfounded.

The man suspiciously hiding in the bushes outside a Columbia Falls-area residence turned out to be the homeowner. He was working in his yard.

Kalispell police

A road rage incident turned uglier when one party followed the other home and stood outside a First Avenue West residence yelling profanities. Kalispell police responded.

Officers calmed two men arguing outside a First Avenue West residence.

Men who allegedly followed an employee of a North Main Street casino home continued to hang out there.

Officers arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of DUI, obstructing police, resisting arrest, speeding, and driving without insurance during a traffic stop on Seventh Avenue East North.

While investigating a suspicious person complaint on Second Avenue West, police arrested a man on two city warrants for failure to appear on traffic violations.

The man standing outside an East Idaho Street grocery store while complaining about being harassed by all of Kalispell and his blood pressure medication was taken to the hospital.

Two men and a woman at Woodland Park were reported for using vulgar language in front of school children.

Officers warned a group of people panhandling in the median at the intersection of Main and Idaho streets to move along.

Whitefish police

Two people, a 47-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, were arrested for partner assault after Whitefish police responded to a disturbance on Iowa Avenue.

In a similar but unrelated call, officers arrested a 45-year-old woman for partner assault and a 48-year-old man for violating a restraining order during a disturbance on Skyles Place.

Officers arrested two boys on suspicion of vandalism. They allegedly damaged a house.

Officers received 37 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 48-year-old man for partner assault after responding to a disturbance on First Avenue West.

Officers received 36 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Whitefish Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS were paged to a bike path odd Talbott Road when a woman started having problems with a tendon in her leg. She was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Creston Fire Department was dispatched to reports of a fire on Foothill Road.

Two crashes involving pedestrians occurred within 20 minutes of each other Tuesday afternoon. Two boys with bicycles were involved in a collision with a truck on South Hilltop Road and a young girl was struck by a car on Ninth Street. No one was taken to the hospital. The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded.

Paramedics with Bigfork Ambulance treated a 7-year-old struck by a falling piece of wood.
