Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested an 18-year-old woman for theft and possessing alcohol at an Idaho Street grocery Saturday evening.

A little later, police arrested an 18-year-old man for theft and possessing alcohol at the same grocery.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man on a warrant while investigating an accident at the intersection of Meridian Road and West Idaho Street Saturday evening. A fire department ambulance took another person to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department investigated a strong gas odor at First Avenue East and Second Street Sunday morning.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a smoldering slash pile on Whitefish Stage Road Sunday afternoon. The department and Northwestern Energy investigated a gas odor on O'Brien Avenue Saturday evening.

The Bad Rock Fire Department and Northwestern Energy responded to a steel post driven through a gas line on Jensen Road Sunday afternoon.
