An argument between a man and woman on Willow glen Road allegedly turned physical. The 40-year-old suspect left, but was arrested by Flathead County Sheriff's deputies on suspicion of probation violation when he returned.

No one was around a car found abandoned near Lion Lake. The car, which was on U.S. Forest Service land, had expired tags out of Kansas.

Someone walking past a Maple Drive residence made off with a pack of cigarettes that were left on the porch.

A man jumping in front of vehicles on Lower Valley Road while making obscene gestures was gone when deputies arrived.

A man driving down Willow Glen Drive thought the person following him was the suspect in his daughter's rape.

Deputies responded to a Kila home after the resident and a meter-reader got into an altercation.

Workers renovating a Hungry Horse residence found a bag of marijuana.

A vehicle parked at a Columbia Falls-area golf course was damaged by a golf ball. The parties involved are trying to work it out amongst themselves.

Proprietors of an Evergreen convenience store filed a complaint against the people using their garbage cans.

A woman near Murray Lake told deputies a group of kids threw rocks at her van, then ran off. She later found a wallet on a nearby trail, possibly dropped there by one of the suspects.

Kalispell police

A Sixth Avenue East resident told Kalispell police her neighbor ran over peony bush.

DVDs were reported stolen on College Avenue. Two chickens were reported missing on Third Avenue East.

Two teenager girls were spotted vandalizing playground equipment at a school on West Nevada Street.

Someone keeps knocking on a Third Street East woman's door in the middle of the night.

A man at a restaurant on East Idaho Street refused to leave - until police were called.

A car missing its front bumper parked outside a grocery store on East Idaho Street, and a person tossed beer cans out the window.

Officers received 68 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 38-year-old man with an outstanding county warrant while investigating a suspicious circumstances complaint at a Nucleus Avenue bar.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old woman on a Montana Highway Patrol warrant and for possession of alcohol at a convenience store on U.S. 2.

Officers received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Creston Fire Department was called to deal with a smoldering slash pile off Foothill Road.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Second Avenue East to treat a person having a reaction to insulin.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a rollover crash on Northwoods Drive, but no one was injured.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash on Two Mile Drive, but only one person suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
