A man and woman whose relationship is apparently on its last legs got into an altercation on U.S. 93 in Somers. He allegedly threatened to take the camper if she filed for a restraining order, according to Flathead County Sheriff's deputies.

Deputies broke up a disturbance between a man, who had been drinking, and a woman at a Shady Lane residence. Deputies also separated a man and woman arguing on Montana 83.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for felony theft after officers twice visited a Harmony Lane residence.

Someone left keys in an unlocked vehicle on U.S. 93 South. Turns out the vehicle, which was supposed to be serviced at a nearby shop, had been left in the wrong parking lot.

A would-be burglar failed to get through the window of an unoccupied rental unit on Vista Lane in Bigfork. In an unrelated call, an attempted break-in was reported on Woodland Park Drive.

A dog was spotted killing ducks on Lake Blaine Road. A black bear was seen on Aero Lane in Bigfork.

Deputies received 157 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

A Third Avenue West woman told Kalispell police her daughter-in-law used her car without permission. Turns out the vehicle was taken due to the woman's health issues.

A pickup truck, with a handgun on the front seat, was stolen on South Main Street. It had been left running.

Officers arrested a man for disorderly conduct, trespassing, and criminal mischief on Liberty Street. Someone suffered a broken hand during the altercation.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of DUI after a fight at a bar on Airport Road.

A woman at Main and Eighth streets told police her ex had left with their young son. The boy was soon returned to his mother.

Officers received 96 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 40 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police cited a 20-year-old woman for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after she left a pouch of marijuana in the bathroom of her child's school.

Computer equipment was reported stolen from Columbia Falls High School.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at Main and Second streets, bit no one was seriously injured.

Paramedics with the Kalispell Fire Department treated a Harlequin Court man after he was burned when his barbecue grill exploded.

The Somers Fire Department was paged out to a reported fire on Boon Road.
