Tickets for the Northwest Montana Fair concerts, rodeo and other events go on sale at 7 a.m. Monday, June 22, at the fairgrounds office.

The fair offers two grandstand concerts this year: John Michael Montgomery on Aug. 18 and Terri Clark on Aug. 19.

Country artist Montgomery has produced more than 30 singles on the Billboard country charts, including two of Billboard's No. 1 country singles of the year: "I Swear" (1994) and "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)" (1995).

Besides these two songs, five of Montgomery's singles have reached the top of the country charts: "I Love the Way You Love Me," "Be My Baby Tonight," "If You've Got Love," "I Can Love You Like That," and "The Little Girl," while 13 more have reached Top Ten.

Canadian-born Clark moved to Nashville at age 18 and rose to fame in the mid-1990s with her first single, "Better Things to Do," followed by hits such as "When Boy Meets Girl," a remake of "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" and "Now That I Found You."

After hitting No. 1 in 1998 with "Easy on the Eyes," Clark downplayed the cowgirl image, but her career momentum faltered. However, in 2003, she rebounded with the spunky hit "I Just Wanna Be Mad."

Reserved tickets for each concert are $35 for adults ($30 for advance sale general admission) and $15 for children. Outside gate admission is included in the ticket price. Admission on the day of the event costs $30, and does not include the $5 outside gate admission charge that begins Aug. 19. Children under 13 and adults over 59 are admitted free throughout the fair.

Three nights of Dodge PRCA Rodeo are planned Aug. 20-22, featuring the One Armed Bandit rodeo act and Justin Mutton Busting for children.

Indian Relay racing takes place before the rodeo on Aug. 21 and 22, and Wild Horse Racing for children concludes the action. Reserved tickets for the rodeo are $15 for Aug. 20 or $20 for Aug. 21 and 22. Advance-sale tickets include outside gate admission.

The Demolition Derby on Aug. 23 costs $12 for adults $7 for children and tickets may be purchased on the day of the event.

Season event tickets, which include all events plus outside gate admission, are $105 for adults or $40 for children.

The schedule and information may be viewed online at www.nwmtfair.com.

A ticket order form may be downloaded and sent by mail to the fair office, or may be requested by mail from the office, 758-5810. Credit-card orders will be taken by telephone, with the seating requests processed after the in-person ticket sales on June 22 to reward "early bird" purchasers.
