Force U-14 boys winless at Region IV

LANCASTER, Calif. - The Flathead Force U-14 boys soccer team is winless after two days of play at the 2009 U.S. Youth Soccer Region IV (West) Championships at the Lancaster National Soccer Center.

There are 247 boys and girls teams competing in six divisions.

Eastside FC Storm (Washington) blanked the Force on Tuesday, 8-0. On Monday, the Force lost 10-0 to Cascade FC Atlas (Oregon).

Play continues today.

Regional winners of the U-14 through U-19 age groups earn a berth to the 2009 US Youth Soccer National Championships to be played July 21-26, at Citizens Bank Fields at Progin Park in Lancaster, Mass.
