Iverson fires 66 at Big 1 Jr. Classic

BOZEMAN - Larry Iverson of Kalispell opened with a 5-under 66 Wednesday during opening-day play at the Trusted Choice Big 1 Junior Golf Classic.
Jake Hedge of Billings leads with a 65 at the Bridger Creek Golf Course.
Both compete in the 16-18 age bracket.
Justin Newton of Kalispell is tied for fifth with two other golfers. All three shot 74. Grahm Schmaltz of Kalispell is sitting 10th with a 77.
Reed Platke of Whitefish shot a 70, which is good for second place in the 14-15 bracket. Ryan Porch of Kalispell is tied for fifth with two other golfers with 77s.
In girls play, Teigan Avery of Kalispell is third in the 13-under division with a 97.
