A Batavia Lane resident told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies her neighbor, who apparently didn't appreciate the sentiments behind a new brand-new "no trespassing" sign, ran it over with his tractor.

Three youths walking down U.S. 93 threw things at passing cars.

A Haskill Basin Road resident complained about the person who through a rock through their window.

More than 100 gallons of gasoline were reported stolen from a business on Fourth Avenue East North outside Columbia Falls.

Newspaper boxes were vandalized in the Marion area. Road signs were knocked down near Ashley Lake.

The person renting a storage unit at a Marion facility didn't pay on time, so the owner locked it up.

The renter allegedly returned, cut off the lock, and took some of the items inside.

Break-ins were reported at homes on Whitefish Stage Road and in the Evergreen area.

Authorities were called out to a street off Whitefish Stage Road after a kite came down across a power line.

Sparkler bombs were heard on Harmony Road. Deputies responded to a fireworks complaint on Angel Point Road.

Deputies received 163 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

A group of children in Woodland Park allegedly were torturing turtles and trying to trip passers-by with fishing line. Kalispell police responded.

Officers arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of DUI, driving without insurance, driving on a suspended license, and speeding during a traffic stop on 10th Avenue West.

Officers also arrested a 22-year-old man on a Montana Highway Patrol warrant for driving on a suspended license and without insurance during a traffic stop on Fifth Avenue West North. Police ticketed the driver with a second citation for driving while suspended.

A 15-year-old Summit Ridge Drive boy is accused of assaulting his mother and brother.

Someone stole a bank deposit bag belonging to a drug store on East Idaho Street. An iPod, sunglasses, and cash were taken from a pickup truck on Greatview Drive.

The former resident of a home on Second Avenue West allegedly threatened to shoot another person, with a gun.

Officers were called to a Fifth Avenue East home after a neighbor heard the couple inside fighting all day. The neighbor allegedly overheard the woman say she had been choked.

A heavily accented man at a North Main Street bank requested officers come help clear up a misunderstanding. The problem was solved.

Officers received 85 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 62-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on Spokane Avenue.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested two 14-year-old girls for shoplifting makeup from a grocery store on Nucleus Avenue.

Officers arrested a 27-year-old man for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on U.S. 2 and Fourth Avenue West.

Officers received 14 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The ALERT helicopter and the Whitefish Fire Department responded to U.S. 93 west of town after a car ran into a tree.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main and Washington streets.

The ALERT helicopter, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were paged out to a rollover crash about two miles up Blacktail Road.

The Somers Fire Department was called to a grass fire near a bicycle path off U.S. 93.
