Gold coins and a silver bar were reported stolen from a residence on Kings Way. Homeowners reported the theft to Flathead County Sheriff's deputies after returning home from out of town.

Someone broke into a Riley Lane residence and made off with about $50,000 in tools and other items.

Reports that there was a methamphetamine lab on 14th Street East North turned out to be unfounded.

Kids throwing rocks at cars passing over a bridge on Springcreek Road were gone when deputies arrived.

Shooters off Columbia Falls Stage Road were either doing so illegally or being unsafe, according to a neighbor. Nothing was amiss when deputies arrived.

A window on a car on Crestview Drive was smashed out. The grandstand at a raceway off U.S. 93 was vandalized.

Family members in Hungry Horse threatening each other over family issues were calmed.

Dogs attacked goats in Columbia Falls. Longhorns got loose on U.S. 2. Kittens were abandoned near Whitefish.

An unwanted woman refused to leave a Lakeside residence, until deputies spoke with her.

Deputies separated a man and woman arguing on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell after responding to reports of domestic violence.

Someone called deputies to report seeing a man featured on the TV show "America's Most Wanted" at an Evergreen wireless store. The sighting was a case of mistaken identity.

Deputies received 159 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 Saturday.

Kalispell police

The manager of a West Idaho Street fast-food restaurant called Kalispell police to report a drunk driver in the drive through. The manager apparently doesn't call often, but this driver was rude. Turns out the motorist wasn't intoxicated, but learning to drive a stick-shift.

The smell of sewage on Corporate Drive turned out to be the odor of a dead deer.

A 14-year-old Parkway Drive girl allegedly hurt herself by hitting a dresser during an argument with her mother.

While investigating a complaint that items were stolen on Sixth Street West, officers arrested a 15-year-old boy, 14-year-old boy, and 13-year-old boy for theft. The youngest also allegedly was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A man called a radio station and threatened to shoot child protective services workers because they took his kid and his wife left him.

Officers were called to First Avenue West after a man and woman were spotted going to apartments and asking residents for permission to come in and check their toilets.

A Liberty Street woman told police a man trampled her garden. Officers were unable to find any damage.

Officers arrested people on suspicion of DUI on 11th Street East, Liberty Street, and Fifth Avenue West. The traffic stops all occurred about when the bars closed.

Officers cited people at a hotel on U.S. 93 South for disorderly conduct after being called back at least twice for noise complaints.

Officers received 86 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 25-year-old man for disorderly conduct at a Central Avenue bar after he got kicked out for life but decided Friday night to return.

Officers received 54 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 Saturday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responding to Riley Lane arrested a 56-year-old man on a city warrant.

Officers received 25 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 Saturday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department responded to Stillwater Road after a skateboarder was found on the side of the road with a broken skateboard. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Evergreen Fire Department was called late Friday to extinguish spot fires off Whitefish Stage Road, possibly caused by fireworks.

The ALERT helicopter and the Olney Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash on Martin Creek Road. The rider was flown to the hospital.

The South Kalispell Fire Department extinguished a grass fire on Concord Lane.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Claremont Street to treat a 98-year-old man with a nose bleed. He was taken to the hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Haskill Basin Road after a car caught on fire and flames spread to surrounding trees.

The Somers Fire Department extinguished a brush fire on a hillside near town.
