Flathead County Sheriff's deputies

The Flathead County Sheriff's deputies received a report of a grizzly bear "charging" horses at residence on Blue Lake Lane in the Bigfork area Sunday afternoon. The incident was referred to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks wildlife conflict specialists.

Deputies counseled two intoxicated men after an argument that occurred on the 300 block of Parliament Drive.

Two boys, who were reportedly threatening a person with an ax handle in the Whitebirch Lane area, were counseled by deputies.

A man, 32, was charged with a felony warrant for obstructing justice and contempt of court at a residence in Lakeside.

A rock was thrown through a window at the Evergreen Water and Sewer plant.

There was a report of two teens throwing firecrackers at passing vehicles on Shady Lane. When deputies arrived, the teens were out of fireworks and they denied any wrongdoing.

Monday morning, there was a report of a vehicle with broken windows at a dealership on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. A shop window at the dealership was also reportedly broken.

A newspaper rack was stolen from a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A Sandy Hill Lane resident reported tools had been stolen.

A portable toilet was vandalized at the Columbia Mountain trailhead east of Columbia Falls.

A fence was cut open and a motorcycle stolen from a dealership on Montana 35 east of Kalispell.

A Martin City resident reported that someone had set off firecrackers inside his vehicle overnight.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a woman, 56, for theft from an east Idaho grocery store and for an outstanding felony warrant Sunday afternoon.

A man, 27, was arrested for partner family member assault after an altercation at a home on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue West.

There was a report of a four-wheel drive truck driving over signs in yards on Beargrass Lane.

A man said that he startled three males who were attempting to break into his vehicle on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue West.

A boy and girl, both minors, were arrested for curfew violation at a West Idaho grocery store early Monday.

A man was arrested for obstructing a peace officer, after there was a report that he was threatening to throw a woman off a balcony at a hotel on U.S. 93 south.

A teenage girl was arrested for being in possession of alcohol and for obstructing a peace officer after police responded to a noise complaint on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue West.

There was a report of two males being apprehended by staff at a West Idaho grocery store, but the pair escaped without the items they had taken.

After a traffic stop on West Idaho, a man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Monday morning.

There was a window bashed out of a vehicle on the 600 block of Second Avenue East North.

A car parked in a garage was broken into on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue West.

A man was arrested in the police department lobby after turning himself in on an outstanding warrant.

The department had 123 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a woman, 45, for drunk driving on Kalispell Avenue and Third Street early Monday.

Items were stolen from a vehicle on the 700 block of Baker Avenue.

There were 44 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

A person was transported by ALERT helicopter to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after an accident near U.S. 2 and Montana 40 Sunday afternoon.

West Valley Fire Department responded to a fire that broke out in trees near Geners Road Sunday.

The Somers Fire Department put out a tree fire in the North Juniper Bay area in Somers Sunday.

After dispatchers received a report of a woman crying in the Walmart parking lot early Monday, the Evergreen Fire Department transported a woman with an injured foot to the Kalispell hospital.

The Three Rivers ambulance transported three people to North Valley Hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 2 and 12th Avenue West in Columbia Falls Monday afternoon.
