Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested three girls on suspicion of theft in three separate instances at an Evergreen box store Friday. The first reportedly was trying to steal condoms; the second, lubricant; and the third, a pregnancy test.

A man wanted on drug-related warrants was spotted at a bar in Somers and again in Columbia Falls before deputies found and arrested him Saturday afternoon.

The skinned and beheaded dog carcasses reported at the Creston Dumpsters turned out to be coyotes.

An employee tried to pursue the person suspected of leaving a restaurant without paying a $40 bill, but ended up following the wrong vehicle.

A Martin City man said that a woman who used to live with him opened a credit card in his name.

A caller worried that people with guns were going to target practice in a cross-country skiing area. The caller canceled the complaint when the people left.

Kalispell police

While investigating a noise complaint on 11th Street West, Kalispell police found an underage party. Officers arrested nine people, ages 15-20, on suspicion of being minors in possession of alcohol. One 18-year-old man also was ticketed on suspicion of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A caller's daughter's ex-boyfriend reportedly threw a Slushie at his former paramour's vehicle. The young man was counseled about his alleged harassment.

The person who stole a purse near a school returned it.

A man ran away when an officer pulled him over. After a brief pursuit, he was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer, drug possession, driving with a suspended license and other minor traffic charges.

Police arrested two 15-year-old boys at a high school Friday night. One was ticketed with being a minor in possession of tobacco and resisting arrest; the other was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass.

Officers arrested a man on suspicion of shoplifting at a grocery store.

A woman on Fifth Avenue West North called police early Saturday morning when she woke up and found her husband doing something inappropriate online. The activity wasn't illegal, so police didn't intervene, and the woman left for the night. That afternoon, her husband called police to report that his wife had threatened to cut herself with a knife so he would be blamed and arrested.

A former employee at a Kalispell business is accused of posting notices that the business is closing and of harassing workers there.

Someone put a hole in a vehicle parked at a high school.

Police told a man to stop calling and texting the woman who has asked him to leave her alone.

Officers received 66 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Columbia Falls police

A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked outside the post office. Columbia Falls police are investigating.

Officers received a report of youths playing on the roof of the junior high and peeking in the window of a residence.

Police received 30 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

The Kalispell and South Kalispell fire departments responded when a dryer caught fire at a convenience store. The building was evacuated when employees noticed smoke in the basement.

Three Rivers EMS took a boy, 17, to the hospital after he passed out - possibly after drinking too much.

Big Mountain ambulance took a 46-year-old skier with a dislocated shoulder to the hospital.
