A Foothill Road resident called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to file a complaint against a sister-in-law, who allegedly was banging on the door and refusing to leave. She was gone when deputies arrived. The resident called back about two hours later to report the woman was back. She again departed before deputies arrived.

Deputies were called to Harbin Hill Road after a 23-year-old man came home intoxicated, yelling and making threats. He also was smoking in the house.

A fight between dogs on Conrad Drive turned into an argument between their owners. Deputies told them to keep their pets on leashes.

Names were used in a harassing phone call to a Prairie View Way resident. She was not amused.

Deputies arrested a 21-year-old woman on two felony warrants for selling drugs at an Oberlin Loop residence.

Someone broke into the trailer portion of a tractor-trailer on Swan River Road. Nothing was reported missing. A vehicle on Commerce Street in Bigfork also was broken into. Again, nothing was reported missing.

Deputies were called to referee the repossession of a car on U.S. 2 near Columbia Falls. Turns out the vehicle's former owner didn't give the repo man any trouble, but deputies ended up arresting a 44-year-old at the scene on a city warrant.

An Olney Loop Road resident suspects his ex-girlfriend in the theft of his property.

A woman told deputies that her 11-year-old son had been assaulted by a bully at an Evergreen junior high.

A disturbance between two brothers at a Coram residence ended when deputies asked one of them, who had been drinking, to leave.

A Martin City parent called to report the kidnapping of their 8-year-old daughter. Turns out the girl has been in the custody of Child Protective Services for the last three weeks.

Some trickster or vandal let a Goodrich Road resident's horses out of their pen.

A concerned Hungry Horse resident called authorities because his mother was drinking and throwing up. Turns out she didn't need help and was just intoxicated.

An inmate of the Flathead County Detention Center allegedly leveled threats at a detention officer.

Deputies received 147 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A man told Kalispell police that somebody had broken the window to get inside his car, and the suspect was still there. Officers arrested a woman for trespassing and criminal mischief.

A wallet was stolen from a purse while the owner was at a thrift store on U.S. 93 South.

People suspected of doing drugs in the parking lot of a casino on North Main Street were gone when officers arrived.

Someone on Fifth Avenue East playing their music overly loud turned it down when asked, but then jacked the volume back up five minutes later. All was peaceful, however, when officers cruised by.

A man in a car on U.S. 93 South allegedly was waving a gun around. Another driver reported the incident, and the man was pulled over.

A man, possibly intoxicated, ran after spotting police on First Avenue West.

Sugar was put in the gas tank of a car parked on College Avenue.

Officers told a panhandler he would be cited for trespassing if he returned to a store on U.S. 93 North.

A man allegedly threatened a teller on his way out of a Second Avenue West bank. Employees reported the man for trespassing.

Officers received 73 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 46 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a business on U.S. 2 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Turns out the man was just having coffee and agreed to leave.

A wallet was reported stolen at a junior high.

Officers received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a grocery store on Third Avenue East North after a disoriented 58-year-old woman couldn't remember where she parked. She was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Three Rivers EMS responded to Shadow Wood Drive where a 15-year-old girl had a bloody nose. She was not taken to the hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Third Street West.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Third Avenue East after a tractor-trailer collided with some power lines.
