Kayaker presents new film
The Daily Inter Lake
Professional kayaker Brad Ludden will return home to the Flathead Valley for a special speech and sneak peak of his new documentary at 5:30 p.m. today at The Summit in Kalispell. The presentation is free and the public is invited.
Ludden will talk about the cancer charity he founded called First Descents, along with showing exclusive clips from an upcoming documentary about his actual first descents down some of the world's most exotic rivers.
Ludden, who learned to kayak on McDonald Creek at a very young age, has become a world-class kayaker.
Since 2001, First Descents has offered camps on rivers around the country to utilize whitewater kayaking and other outdoor adventure sports to promote emotional, psychological and physical healing for young adults with cancer.
