Bravettes fall to Sentinel

MISSOULA - Kelsey Hildal scored 19 points and Danika Johnson added 13 in a losing effort Friday night for the Flathead Bravettes.

The Western AA No. 7- seeded Bravettes fell 58-50 to No. 2 seed Missoula Sentinel in a play-in game for the Class AA state tournament.

Sentinel led from the get-go, outscoring Flathead 18-11 in the first quarter and 29-21 in the first half. It built a 42-27 lead after three quarters, then withstood a fourth-quarter flurry from Flathead.

Johnson also had 11 rebounds. Freshman Tess Brenneman added 10 points and two steals.
