Hawks down Wolfpack at state

BUTTE ? Bozeman dominated the Glacier High Wolfpack in the Class AA state basketball tournament this morning, winning 80-58.

The Hawks exploded from the start behind sophomore Tanner Roderick, who scored 14 of his 35 points in the first quarter. Bozeman led 31-15 at the end of the quarter.

Glacier tried climbing back into the game, closing the margin at halftime to 39-30.

But Bozeman resumed its charge in the second half, adding four 3-pointers for a total of eight during the game.

Connor Fuller led Glacier in scoring with 19 points. Ben Cutler followed with 16 points.

Glacier goes into the consolation bracket Friday morning at 9 a.m. against Missoula Sentinel., which fell 56-39 to C.M. Russell on Thursday morning.
