Carol Lynn McCalla, 68

Carol Lynn McCalla, 68, passed away at her residence in Kalispell. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Nov. 20, 1940, the daughter of Lawrence Cody and Carolyn Elizabeth (Butin) McCalla.

She was raised in Memphis where she went to school. She moved to Kalispell in 1975 with her parents and sister.

Her whole life was centered around her Lord Jesus Christ, her Savior and Lord, "and she now resides with him."

She liked to watch birds and deer, doing things around the house, getting her hair fixed, going to dinner and enjoyed reading her Bible. She enjoyed her nephews very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Monforton, and her husband, Gerry, of Kalispell; and nephews, Matthew Monforton and wife, Damaris, and their children, Kimberly and Ethan, of Bozeman; Jason Monforton and his wife, Janell, and their children, Josh, Megan and Zack, of Denver; and Andrew and Daniel Monforton, of Kalispell.

Private family services for Carol will be held. There is no visitation.
