The woman was caught, but her partner fled. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies caught him a short while later and ticketed him on suspicion of theft, resisting arrest and probation violation. The woman was ticketed on suspicion of theft, assault and criminal mischief.
Several alleged shoplifters, including a pair of girls and a woman, were apprehended at a box store in Evergreen.
