A man found dead Monday evening near an Evergreen railroad embankment has been identified as 20-year-old Dusty Lee Burlingham.
Burlingham, of Kalispell, died from what investigators have ruled was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office. A firearm was found at the scene.
Burlingham's body was discovered northwest of Nicholson Drive near the railroad tracks about 5 p.m. Monday by a woman walking her dog.
The body, which had been covered by snow prior to recent warm weather, appeared to have been there for some time. Burlingham was last seen alive on Jan. 21, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Also Wednesday, Lake County officials released the results of their investigation into the March 13 death of 41-year-old Kenneth Lee Miller.
