A Grande Vista Drive resident told Flathead County sheriff's deputies someone sneaked into the barn and cut his horse with a knife. The horse is at the vet and may need surgery.

A Shady Lane resident reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unregistered number.

The person inside a suspicious vehicle reported at Herron Park wasn't doing anything of the sort when deputies arrived.

About 5 gallons of gas spilled near an Evergreen convenience store, prompting a call to emergency services. Fire crews responded to clean it up.

Employees of a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen reported receiving bad checks.

Investigators were alerted to a possible poacher on Hodgson Road.

Deputies were called to a reported assault on Willow Glen Drive and a noise disturbance on South Cedar Drive. A loud party also was reported in a Shady Lane trailer park.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responding to reports of a domestic disturbance on Barron Way on Thursday morning arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of partner assault. He reportedly took things from the residence before lighting a fire in the driveway. Officers quelled the flames with fire extinguishers.

The rear window of a car outside a First Avenue West restaurant was broken out.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on two outstanding warrants during a traffic stop on Fourth Street West.

Keys belonging to a Kalispell hotel were reported missing.

Several hundred dollars and pills were reported stolen from a home on Sixth Avenue East.

Officers counseled a man in a wheelchair who allegedly caused a disturbance on Second Street East.

An older man allegedly drinking beer as he rode a tricycle in traffic down 11th Street West was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and open container.

Officers arrested a 14-year-old girl on suspicion of probation violation after responding to a disturbance on Crestview Road.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol while officers investigated a 911 hang-up on Ponderosa Street.

Officers received 83 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy on assault charges after an alleged altercation in the high school parking lot.

Officers arrested a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and with expired plates during a traffic stop on Spokane Avenue.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Paramedics with Big Mountain Ambulance were called to treat an injured person at the resort clinic.

The Creston Fire Department responded to what was reported as a possible chimney fire on Foothill Road.

The Marion Fire Department was paged out to a fire in a Dumpster at the green box site.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a hotel on U.S. 93 South after someone smelled natural gas.
