Everett L. 'Red' Tomlinson, 64

Everett L. "Red" Tomlinson, 64, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009, at his residence in Kalispell.

He was born Oct. 5, 1944, in Wenatchee, Wash., to Shelby and Dorothy (Steel) Tomlinson.

Red grew up in Mexico, Mo., and then moved to Santa Barbara, Calif. He had a large family and eventually moved to Montana.

Red loved mechanics and was very sociable. He had many friends. He also loved woodworking, camping, hunting, four-wheeling and stock car racing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Pfledging; and his father, Shelby Tomlinson.

He is survived by two sons, Keith Tomlinson of Santa Barbara, and Adrian Tomlinson of Post Falls, Idaho; three daughters, Shannon Fraleigh of Kalispell, Ashley LaBau and husband, Dave, of Vancouver, Wash., and Taran Tomlinson of Post Falls; six grandchildren, Justin Tomlinson, Mackenzie and Braden LaBau, with Beau, Savannah, Max and Isabella Fraleigh; two sisters, Bonnie Feger of Mexico, Mo., and Paula Decker of Kila; one aunt, Gail Englin, of Mexico, Mo.; and a niece, Darlene Huffstetler, of Mexico, Mo.
