Whitefish council meets tonight

The Whitefish City Council will discuss long- and short-term priorities for the city during a work session from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Whitefish City Hall.

Council members and city department heads already have prioritized a list of goals. Tonight's workshop will allow them to review, edit, add and set priorities.

The highest-ranking priorities are affordable housing, development or improvement of a code enforcement program, acquiring development rights or conservation easements in the Whitefish watershed, and continued bike-path development.
