Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested a 13-year-old girl for family member assault Sunday evening after she reportedly punched her 78-year-old grandmother in the head. Three hours later deputies returned to the home on Country Court after parents called the sheriff's office asking to them to remove their daughter and two other girls who remained at the home. The girls left.

An evening of drinking reportedly ended with a fight among three men, one with a gun, at a home on LaBrant Road Sunday night. One version of the story had the group drinking wine together after the fracas. One 44-year-old man went to jail on a warrant for burglary.

Detectives are investigating a robbery reported by a 53-year-old Evergreen woman early Monday. She said a man grabbed her purse as she was getting out of her car after returning home from work shortly after 2 a.m. A short struggle ensued before the attacker reportedly left in a waiting car.

Two neighbors arguing over a driveway easement on Mountain View Drive Sunday afternoon said they would seek a resolution in civil court.

Two calls came in concerning domestic battery at an address on U.S. 2 west of Kalispell. A deputy's report is pending.

Medications were reported stolen from a home on Ridgewood Drive.

A rock slide covered both lanes of U.S. 2 about three miles east of West Glacier Sunday. The first reports came in between 5:30 and 6 p.m. About three hours later another caller reported debris still was on the road.

A prowler reported on First Street in Hungry Horse was gone when deputies arrived.

Tools were reported stolen on Jewel Basin Court. Dogs were reported stolen, possibly, in Evergreen.

Deputies received 138 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police are investigating at least three burglaries or attempted burglaries to unlocked homes on Glacier Street. At one home, a door was propped open and a purse missing. At another home, the glove box to a vehicle was rifled through.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of assault with a weapon, probation violation, carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and obstructing a police officer after he allegedly threatened another man with a knife at a casino on U.S. 93 South.

A car playing loud and obscene music at Woodland Park was gone when officers arrived.

A passerby told officers two girls were fighting on Eighth Avenue West and that one struck the other in the head with a stick. Turns out there were three girls, and they were having a water fight.

A woman who hadn't heard from her daughter called police to report that her daughter may have been kidnapped by an ex-boyfriend. Turns out she was just angry at her mother and not speaking to her.

Three people arguing over the keys to a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East were counseled.

Officers responded to Fifth Avenue West after a woman complained that her ex-husband and his new wife were banging on her door and demanding items she didn't have. Officers refereed while the parties exchanged property.

Someone stole a sign advertising pizza from a restaurant on U.S. 2 west of Kalispell.

Officers arrested a 22-year-old woman for stealing makeup and toothpaste from a grocery store on East Idaho Street.

Officers received 56 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received reports that graffiti was scrawled on a Spokane Avenue middle school.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old woman for possession of alcohol at an apartment on Iowa Avenue. She reportedly was attending a too-loud party.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 41-year-old man for possession of drugs while investigating reports of an intoxicated pedestrian on Sixth Avenue East North.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

A 13-year-old girl under house arrest was taken into custody after she ran away from home.

A student reportedly mooned some other students while on the school bus.

Officers received 35 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Marion Fire Department took two people to Kalispell Regional Medical Center Sunday after a 20-year-old woman was injured in an ATV rollover 12 miles up the Hubbart Dam Road.

The Whitefish Fire Department was paged out to a rollover crash on Twin Bridges Road.

The Marion Fire Department and Olney Fire Department were paged to a rollover crash on U.S. 93.
