Kalispell police

A man allegedly beat up his girlfriend, took a bunch of pills, and then ran through the halls of a hotel on U.S. 93 South threatening to hurt other people. Kalispell police arrested him for partner assault.

Officers arrested a man on suspicion of DUI after a crash on Center Street. No one was injured.

Someone threw a rock through the window on the front door of a Fourth Avenue East school.

A woman told officers a man verbally abused her friend, threatened to harm her, and then took off on foot.

Two men jumped out of a car parked at a Kalispell bank, had a fist fight, and then jumped back into the vehicle.

A shopping cart is the suspect in a hit-and-run in the parking lot of a store on U.S. 93 North. The person behind the cart left a note.

Shoplifters were arrested at a sporting goods store on U.S. 93 North, a grocery store on U.S. 93 South, and a grocery store on East Idaho Street. Items stolen included food and beer.

Officers received 78 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Flathead County sheriff

Employees of a Lakeside chiropractic clinic called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday after an intoxicated man came in demanding a message. They called back Wednesday because they were concerned there might be problems if the man showed up that day for his scheduled appointment. He didn't.

A Bear Trail woman told deputies her daughter's boyfriend hit her in the neck, pushed her husband, and then left.

An intoxicated man reportedly was yelling and hitting people at a Conrad Drive home. He left before deputies arrived. The residents later called back to report he also had damaged a bathroom door.

Someone tried to steal a boat motor from a lot on Kelly Road. Items were reported stolen from a car parked outside a nursery on Montana 35.

Deputies responded to Pleasant Valley Road after a 43-year-old man claimed he was assaulted Tuesday night. Then he decided not to cooperate and went to the hospital by private vehicle.

A white 1992 Pontiac was reported stolen on Lakeside Avenue. The keys were inside and the doors unlocked.

Cows got onto Whitefish Stage Road. A dog reportedly killed chickens on Parliament Drive. Dogs chased horses on Coram Stage Road.

Deputies received 174 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 32-year-old woman for driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, and on a Kalispell warrant during a traffic stop on U.S. 93.

Officers received 52 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 25 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

Smoke was reported coming from Kalispell Middle School, but firefighters with the Kalispell Fire Department were unable to find anything amiss.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to U.S. 93 and O'Brien Avenue after a car reportedly struck a teenager. The 13-year-old boy suffered minor injuries.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Liberty Street after a man drove off the road and into a tree and house. He reportedly had a history of medical problems.

A 30-year-old man on Montana 35 allegedly hurt his wrist during an attack, but refused to cooperate with officers. The Evergreen Fire Department took him to the hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to what was reported as a vehicle on fire on U.S. 93.
