A Shady Lane woman was cited for having a dog at large, so she filed a complaint with Flathead County Sheriff's deputies claiming someone had cut the rope holding her pet in the yard.

Tires were flattened and the rear windshield wiper ripped off a car parked on Country Way.

Someone spraypainted fresh cement on Grand Drive in Bigfork, prompting the property owner to call deputies with a vandalism complaint.

A woman at the North Valley Hospital emergency room told deputies she had been assaulted, and that a man was responsible.

A man's ex-wife allegedly left him harassing phone calls.

The stepdaughter of a Hungry Horse resident had been barred from the property but showed up anyway.

Animal wardens were called to do a welfare check on a horse on Jellison Road.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to a store on U.S. 93 North after a woman ran her car into it, causing a sizable hole. She was not injured.

Pharmacists at a grocery store on U.S. 93 South called police after a woman continued to call and check the status of her forged prescription.

A student at Glacier High School allegedly was assaulted by another student. Her mother called police.

Skateboarders reportedly grinding on the war memorial in Depot Park were gone when officers arrived.

An air mattress went missing from a storage unit on Meridian Road. The owner called police to report that a family member was refusing to return it.

Two men yelling at each other outside an apartment complex on Liberty Street were gone when officers arrived.

The person urinating down a slide in Woodland Park left with some other skateboarders before officers could apprehend them.

A witness reported seeing a man throw a woman to the ground on Eighth Avenue West. They were separated for the night.

A woman on Heritage Way called to report her bumper had been torn off in a hit-and-run. Turns out the damage actually occurred when she ran over a pylon.

Whitefish police received 47 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police cited a student for disorderly conduct after a Thursday morning fight at the high school.

An 8-year-old boy was caught shoplifting from a grocery store Nucleus Avenue.

Officers received 23 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a residence on Third Avenue West after the stove caught on fire, filling the home with smoke.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to U.S. 2 and Rose Crossing after an elderly driver suffering from a medical problem ran off the road. The driver was taken to the hospital.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department re-sponded to a broken gas line on Tamarack Lane.

The Kalispell Fire Department was called to the city-county health department after someone had an emergency in the elevator.

An elderly pedestrian hit by a car on West Evergreen Drive was taken to the emergency room. The Evergreen Fire Department and Kalispell Fire Department responded.
