A Marion man threatened to take matters into his own hands, vigilante style, after someone allegedly tried to break into his residence. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded.

A McCaffery Road resident received more than 20 harassing voice mails and text messages. In an unrelated incident, a woman reportedly threatened a Whitefish-area man over the phone.

Deputies broke up disturbances on Montana 209 near Ferndale and at a casino on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A car with its rear smashed, sides crushed in and dirt on the dashboard apparently ran off the road on Third Street West North outside Columbia Falls.

A customer at an Evergreen vehicle repair shop allegedly threatened employees.

Deputies assisted officers from the Columbia Falls Police Department in responding to a fight behind a business on Fourth Avenue East North.

Four deputies were called to a Ranch Lane residence to calm an out-of-control man.

Deputies received 155 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Five kids were spotted beating up a vehicle on Sherwood Lane with a baseball bat. Kalispell police responded and discovered a man was damaging his own car, reportedly in preparation for entry into a race.

A car reported stolen from an East Idaho Street motel was located.

A motorist followed and harassed a woman driving near Kalispell Middle School, reportedly because she accidentally pulled out in front of him. The man allegedly reached at her through an open car window.

The man looking into vehicle windows at the Flathead County Justice Center parking lot was gone when officers arrived.

An employee of a restaurant near Main and Idaho streets thought a customer was doing drugs in the bathroom.

A man told officers another man beat his friend with a stick at Woodland Park.

During a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and 11th streets, officers arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of DUI and on a warrant for felony stalking. A second 22-year-old man was arrested on two warrants for contempt of court.

Construction material was stolen on Appleway Drive. An old steel garbage rack was taken from a Fourth Avenue East North alley, possibly for scrap metal. Stereo equipment was stolen from a car on Second Avenue West.

Officers received 90 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 41 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a supposedly vacant Martha Road residence after a neighbor saw lights and heard noises. The building was secure.

Officers are investigating an alleged assault on Fourth Avenue West. A man is accused of hitting a woman.

A 52-year-old woman was arrested for partner assault on Scenic Drive. There reportedly is some controversy over who started the altercation.

Alarms

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to what was reported as an unattended fire on Browns Meadow Road.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash on Second Avenue West North.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department were paged out to Trumble Creek Road to treat a choking infant.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Badrock Fire Department extinguished a structure fire at a reportedly unoccupied home on Tamarack Lane. The home was fully involved with flames.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to crashes on U.S. 93 and Cemetery Road and on Third Avenue West, but no one was seriously injured.
