Power work will involve road closure on Bigfork Stage

Flathead Electric Cooperative crews will install an underground line on Bigfork Stage Road beginning May 18, with a stretch of the road closed through May 21.

The work is expected to take two weeks.

Crews will lay the line under the length of road from 1200 to 1372 Bigfork Stage Road.

The utility said it will increase reliability of service to the Bigfork, Ferndale, Swan Lake and East Lakeshore areas.

The road will be closedfrom 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
