With bond balloting under way, tours offered of Kila School

Kila School is hosting tours of the school from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 16.

Students won't be present, but the community still will be able to see the need for the proposed expansion of the school, Principal Renee Boisseau said.

The school also will host a community meeting to discuss the $2.1 million bond issue at 6:30 p.m. May 21.

Ballots were mailed out Monday for the school's bond request.

The mail ballots must be returned by June 2.
