A customer walked into a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen and found it empty, except for a child in a sleeping bag behind the counter. Turns out the clerk, who also was the child's mother, was just in a back room. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded.
A man who got into a fight at a bar in Lakeside called deputies because he needed help retrieving his glasses, which had been left behind.

Columbia Falls police were called to the city shop on Seventh Street after a passerby noticed a group of boys with baseball bats hanging around.
Officers arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on Second Avenue West.
