Charles R. Wilkinson, 71

Charles R. Wilkinson, 71, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, ending his battle with a serious lung condition, surrounded by his family in Lakewood, Wash.

Charles left behind a legacy of love. He was a loving father, a caring husband. He is known for his heart of gold and the kindness he extended to everyone, even to strangers. Charlie was always the life of the party, and brought laughter even in his final hour. He will be sorely missed by everyone. He loved caring for animals, going to the movies, writing poetry and giving generously to others.

Charlie lived a life of hard work and dedication. He worked for United Airlines, owned "Wilkinson's Video Station" in Kalispell, and spent the last 21 years at Boeing. He worked up until the very end of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Hony; children, Nathan Wilkinson, Lisa Nevis, and Kristina Estep; and their mother, Elizabeth Ellesch.
