The Flathead County Sheriff's Office got a report from a man saying that a grizzly bear was in the vicinity of his Swan Hill Drive home east of Bigfork late Tuesday. The man said he fired shots to scare off the bear, but it was not intimidated.

A house window reportedly was shot with a BB gun on Riley Lane.

There was a complaint from a Shady Lane resident alleging that a dog had been stolen by another person who had been taking care of it, but refused to give it back.

A black bear was spotted in the vicinity of the Riverside Vineyard Church just north of Reserve Drive.

A motorcycle was reported stolen from a shed at a Ridgewood Drive residence.

Disputing neighbors had to be counseled by deputies at the 2000 block of U.S. 2 east of Kalispell.

A woman reported that her sister had broken her nose after a fight over changing an infant's diapers at a home on Hellman Lane.

The sheriff's dispatch had 138 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a woman, 19, on a local warrant Tuesday afternoon after she was involved in a minor accident on the 100 block of Meridian Drive.

A stereo system was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 400 block of Sixth Avenue East North.

A bicycle worth $350 was reported stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Seventh Avenue West.

There was a fight, involving a stolen cigarette, at the Woodland Skate Park. Officers ended up citing a man for open container.

Wednesday morning, there was a report that a vehicle was rifled through on the 1900 block of Bluestone Drive.

A suicidal man was taken from a bar on Woodland Drive to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

A CD case was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 100 block of Northern Lights Boulevard.

The department had 60 log entries from 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a man, 21, for drunk driving early Wednesday after a traffic stop at U.S. 2 and Sixth Avenue West.

Police are investigating a reported burglary at an apartment on Martha Road.

There were 35 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police got a report Tuesday evening of a credit card theft from a residence on the 6000 block of Shiloh Avenue.

There was a report of a backpack and rifle stolen from a vehicle at the Whitefish Mountain Mall.

There were 50 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
