Kalispell police

A woman complained to Kalispell Police that a man in a silver pickup tried to ram her red Volkswagen Beetle and got out of his rig to knock on her windows. Several miles down the road, the pickup driver called to complain that the Volkswagen driver had cut him off and almost caused an accident. Officers counseled them both on safe driving habits.

Female customers at several stores in a U.S. 93 North shopping center complained that transients were harassing them. Officers asked the men to move along.

A burglary was reported on Fourth Avenue West.

A caller suspected the two men in their late 50s who were photographing a bank on U.S. 93 were casing the joint. No heist had been reported by Saturday evening.

A man was cited for shoplifting at a grocery store on Third Avenue East North.

Someone damaged a fence and a lamp and let out a dog on Honeysuckle Lane.

While investigating a report of suspicious activity on First Avenue East, officers arrested an 18-year-old man for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

A man, 25, was arrested for disorderly conduct at a downtown bar.

Teens, possibly packing BB guns or paintball guns, were suspected of stalking deer through town.

A woman who said her boyfriend had hit her was taken to the emergency room to treat a cut over her eye.

A security guard saw two boys with head lamps possibly going through a purse on Third Avenue West early Saturday morning. The guard searched the area for the purse after the boys left; he didn't find it but did come across a bike and a lawnmower stashed in the bushes.

A man accused his son of stealing his car.

A man said he was attacked by three men, one of whom had a knife, behind a downtown inn. Two of the alleged assailants ran away; the third reportedly was knocked out by his intended victim.

Officers received 81 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Flathead County sheriff

A Lakeside resident told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies that a neighbor does drugs.

An Evergreen student was suspended after allegedly threatening his teacher.

One person went to the hospital after rolling an ATV in the Kila area.

A boy and a girl were arrested for shoplifting at an Evergreen box store.

Animal wardens are investigating whether a skinny horse has been treated cruelly in Kila.

A kid who tried to run away from a wilderness treatment center was caught at the McGregor Lake Lodge and returned to the center.

The girl reported missing at Lion Lake apparently was at home the whole time.

Criminal mischief was reported at a veterinary clinic and at two businesses on Grand Drive in Bigfork.

Deputies received 199 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 19-year-old man for theft. The man allegedly tried to steal two 24-packs of beer from a convenience store.

Officers arrested two men on outstanding warrants in unrelated incidents Saturday morning.

Dispatchers logged 58 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

The Coram and West Glacier fire departments took care of a camper that caught fire on Blankenship Road. The blaze is under investigation.
