Flathead Electric Cooperative
Much of southern Kalispell lost power Saturday afternoon, darkening homes and businesses and extinguishing traffic lights in patches from Center Street south to the Four Corners area. Some places were reconnected about an hour after the power went out about 3 p.m., but other areas took longer as crews continued work. Representatives with the Flathead Electric Cooperative could not be reached Saturday to comment on how many people were affected or the outage's cause.

Employees of an Evergreen store told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies a man was trying to sell kids drugs.

Kalispell police responded to Flathead High School Friday morning after an employee allegedly was assaulted.

A motorist was arrested on suspicion of DUI late Friday near a West Idaho Street convenience store after police received a report the driver may have been drunk.

Alarms
The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Second Avenue East to take a person suffering an allergic reaction to prescription medication to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
The Hungry Horse Fire Department and Martin City Fire Department were paged out to River Road after a transformer blew.
