The annual Flathead Glacier Booster Club Auction takes place from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Red Lion Hotel Kalispell.

Admission is free.

Silent auctions on items ranging from hunting and fishing gear to art to building supplies begin at 5:30 p.m. Some bids close at 7:30 p.m.; others close at 8 p.m.

The live auction will be from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

There will be multiple raffles throughout the evening, including a Signature Theatres annual VIP pass with a guest, valued at $1,200.

Light snacks and a cash bar will be available.

Checkout begins at 9 p.m. Payments may be made by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.

The auction raises between $20,000 and $30,000 annually and is used to support athletics and activities at Flathead and Glacier high schools.

There are about 44 activities between the schools; auction proceeds and other booster club fundraisers support all of them.

All auction items are available for viewing at http://fgbc.maestroweb.com.
