Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Harbin Hill road residence after a woman called to report a man had hit her in the throat during an argument and then left.

Two people at a Bigfork health club reportedly each accused the other of harassment. Deputies told the pair to get along.

Columbia Falls police received 25 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Smith Valley Fire Department, West Valley Fire Department, and South Kalispell Fire Department were paged out to reports of a fire at a house near Kila.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department, Whitefish Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS responded to a fire on a trailer off Montana 40. The blaze reportedly started in the bathroom and filled the house with smoke.
