Flathead County sheriff and Kalispell police

Numerous Flathead County Sheriff's deputies and Kalispell police officers responded Thursday afternoon to Woodland Park after authorities stopped a man suspected of stealing a cell phone from Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The man, who was deemed high-risk, was taken into custody without incident.

Flathead County sheriff

A man reportedly patronized the drive-through window of an Evergreen restaurant with an open container of alcohol, then urinated in the bushes outside the building. He was gone when Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrived.

Deputies responded to Whitefish Stage Road after a woman called to report that her husband had gone "psycho" and cut his hand on a beer bottle. The 28-year-old man went to jail on suspicion of partner assault.

A woman told deputies that she heard 52 cats and 26 dogs were being held on a property in the Trap Road area.

Two sheep were attacked and another killed after allegedly being attacked by a dog on Brunner Road.

A man, reportedly clad in a dress and long underwear, was spotted hiding in the bushes around a Martin City residence.

Kids horsing around on the roof of a building on Electric Avenue in Bigfork got down.

After getting kicked out of an Evergreen casino while looking for a friend, a woman told deputies she was pushed by a 32-year-old woman with an outstanding warrant. The alleged suspect did have a warrant, it turns out, and was arrested for contempt of court.

Three women standing outside an Evergreen motel looked like they were going to fight, reportedly over trouble with a man. They were counseled and sent on their ways.

Kalispell police

A Northridge Drive man told Kalispell police some kids drove by and threw a pumpkin at him while he stood outside his home.

Employees of an East Idaho Street car dealership reported an ongoing problem with trespassers and vandals. Wheels, tires, and hubcaps were reported stolen Thursday from two new vehicles.

An intoxicated man outside an East Idaho Street grocery store allegedly approached a woman for money and, when she refused, followed her around the business.

Officers responded to Third Street West after a woman reported being threatened by her 36-year-old son.

A man's ex allegedly called his employer, pretending to be him, told them he no longer wanted work, and then e-mailed inappropriate pictures.

Cash reportedly was stolen from the candle box at a church on South Main Street.

Officers separated for the night a man and woman arguing at an East Idaho Street motel.

A man was searched for weapons prior to giving a deposition on Second Avenue West.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 24-year-old man for driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop behind a Baker Avenue bar.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating reports that mailboxes were smashed on Third Avenue West.

Alarms

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a Sunset Drive residence after an electrical fire began in the bathroom. The flames were quickly extinguished.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded Wednesday evening to a three-car crash on U.S. 93 North. Paramedics treated injured occupants.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department was notified about a chimney fire that never quite materialized at a Hodgson Road home.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Ninth Avenue West to treat a person with an injured leg.
