Flathead City-County Health Department offers its fifth free H1N1 (swine) flu vaccination clinic from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Trade Center Building at the north end of the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell.

This clinic will provide immunizations to:

n People ages 6 months to 24 years old. Parental consent forms are available to download from www.flatheadhealth.org.

n Caregivers of infants under 6 months old.

n People over 24 with chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems. No prescriptions are required.

The department has planned 18 vaccination stations at the Tuesday clinic. If a large number of people come, the Trade Center Building has sufficient room for them to wait inside out of the weather. A drive-up service is available for people with mobility problems.

Joe Russell, county health officer and director of the health department, complimented the work of staff and volunteers helping with each clinic.

"We vaccinated 1,150 people at our past Tuesday clinic," Russell said. " We are pleased with the community's response to our clinics and hope the trend continues."
