Kathy Garber of Kalispell is working with Global Mission Awareness to raise $40,000 by Nov. 13 to ship two cargo containers of rice and food, tents, blankets and medical supplies to Waziristan and the Swat Valley.

Relief supplies will help 300,000 people make it through the winter in the two regions under attack by Taliban fighters.
