Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the parking lot of a bar on U.S. 2 and Montana 40 after a man allegedly threatened to shoot another man in an altercation that began late Monday while one of them was speaking with a woman. The suspect allegedly left while intoxicated.

Kids near the Somers Road intersection with U.S. 93 were spotted throwing rocks at passing cars.

The parents of a 14-year-old Kila boy called deputies after their son got out of control. He was taken into custody for violating the terms of his probation.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of felony drug charges during a traffic stop on Main Street.

Someone made a scam phone call to a Ninth Avenue West residence saying the homeowner had won money but needed to pay something upfront to receive it.

A wallet was reported stolen right off the table at a downtown Kalispell pizza restaurant.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police responding to a crash late Monday at the intersection of U.S. 93 and JP Road arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of DUI, driving without a valid license, and driving without insurance. He reportedly hit a fire truck on its way to a call.

Officers arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop near Edgewood Drive and East Second Street.

Officers received 25 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police tracked down and cited a driver who maneuvered his way through the lowered arms of a railroad crossing gate on U.S. 2.

Officers arrested a 27-year-old man Tuesday on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop in front of a grocery store on U.S. 2.

Officers received 24 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at Main and Third streets. One of the people involved hurt his or her neck.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to U.S. 93 after a bicyclist crashed into a fence and went into the ditch. The rider was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to Aluminum Drive after hay bales near a home caught fire. The flames were extinguished.
