Flathead County sheriff

An intoxicated woman discovered in the middle of Montana 35 reportedly bolted from her husband’s car after he picked her up. She eventually got to a South Mountain View Drive home, where she partook in an altercation that involved items being thrown around. Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies responded.

A man went to a coworker’s residence on U.S. 2 and reportedly found two infants left in a crib with no parents present.

Deputies responded to a Martin City home after a man called to complain that his younger sister was intoxicated and causing a scene.

A 12-year-old boy who reportedly had plans to run away was reported missing. He was found and returned home.

Neighbors called authorities after hearing what they thought was a man and woman loudly arguing at a Caroline Road residence. There was no disturbance, but the man and woman were asked to keep it down.

Men with blow horns reportedly rode motorcycles down Trumble Creek Loop, causing a racket.

Guests of a motel on U.S. 2 who got into an argument in the early hours of Thursday morning agreed to settle down when deputies arrived.

A man on U.S. 2 South called to complain about his 7-year-old granddaughter, who he says is continually stealing from him.

Deputies received 144 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police

A Liberty Street man reported that a woman is threatening his 9-year-old son. He was advised by Kalispell police on how to go about getting a restraining order.

Officers responded to Ninth Avenue West because a man banging on his sister’s door wouldn’t leave.

A man at the intersection of South Meridian Road and Fourth Street complained that his ex tried to take his car, but elected not to pursue charges.

Someone vandalized a building on West Center Street. A car on Second Avenue West was egged.

A car reported stolen from outside a building on Second Avenue West was soon located in the parking lot.

The Birchwood Court woman who told police there were demons in her car was advised to speak with religious authorities.

A Second Street West woman told officers her soon-to-be ex-husband threatened her and her parents. He reportedly threatened to burn the house down and cut a boat in half.

Officers received 86 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 35-year-old man on a county warrant for failure to pay fines on convictions for DUI, driving without insurance, driving without a valid license and drug possession during a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

A 25-year-old man with an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on city DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia charges was arrested on U.S. 2.

Someone walked out of a store on Ninth Avenue West without paying for ice cream bars.

Officers received 18 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to what turned out to be a controlled burn on North Foy’s Lake Drive.

Smoke spotted coming out of a building on Glacier Park International Airport property turned out to be steam from a steam-cleaning machine. The Evergreen Fire Department responded.

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded Thursday morning to a rollover crash on U.S. 2. Injured occupants, including an older woman, were taken to the hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to what turned out to be a prescribed burn on a trail off Karrow Avenue.
